Legon Cities FC will end the first round of the Ghana Premier League at home when they tackle King Faisal Babes at the El-Wak Stadium on Monday afternoon.
Cities have been on a decent form lately having lost only once in their last five league matches, drawing two and winning two in the others.
The Royals are sitting above the relegation zone with a goals difference advantage as they are on same points with WAFA SC who are 16th on the standings.
Cities would want to maintain their position on the league log by seeing of Faisal in Monday’s fixture. A lose will see them in the relegation place.
Maxwell Konadu’s side have been bad at home recently after recording just a win in the last seven matches where they have lost four and drawn two.

Despite the poor home form, Cities have not lost in their last two home games. They want to hold on that on Monday.
Faisal will be aiming at ending the first half of the season as bright as they started the season by at least getting a top four place after their visit to the capital.
A win on Monday against Cities will take the Insha Allah Boys to the 3rd place on the premiership standings as they go past Aduana Stars and Great Olympics.
Nurudeen Amadu’s side will make the trip with some confidence having ended their winless run last week with a 2-0 victory over Real Tamale United in Kumasi.
Faisal had gone four straight matches without even picking a draw with three away defeats and one at home.
The Green and Whites are going into Monday’s match with an abysmal away form. They have lost all of their last four games on the road.
After beating rivals Asante Kotoko SC 3-2 on December 5, 2022 in Kumasi, Faisal have managed to pick only one point ever since.
