The National Veterans Table Tennis Association in conjunction with the National sports Authority , the swedru table tennis club and the Fit Health Sports foundation organized the 6th National Veterans Table Tennis Ranking Competition at the Catholic Parish Hall, Agona Swedru on 3rd December, 2021.
The event brought together past Regional and National Table Tennis champions from all the sixteen Regions of Ghana.
Present at the ceremony were the Vice President of Veterans Table Tennis Association, Mr. Jason Onyame, Chairman of the Central Regional Table Tennis Association, Mr Benjamin Aidoo.
Mr. Alexander Tieku the Ag. Regional sports Director for the central Region represented the Director General of the National Sports Authority at the event. He was accompanied by Mrs. Joyce Ayensua Ghansah, District Sports Development Officer( Agona West District).

The Ag. Regional Sports Director conveyed the congratulatory and best wishes messages of the Director General to the Veterans and encouraged them to support and mentor young table tennis players in their respective clubs and regions. The Ag. Regional Director further indicated to the Veterans that the National Sports Authority through the abled leadership of the Director General will continue to offer the necessary assistance to Table Tennis and all the other sports disciplines to ensure the growth and development of sports across the country.
At the end of the competition, Mr Joseph Oware came first A/R.
Mr Philip Dadzie C/R came second.
Mr Lord Kinful Stephen came third Gt.A/R.
And Emmanuel Kofi Nti also came forth W/R.
