The 2021 Basic Education Certificate examination commenced today to end on Friday, November 19 with candidates being advised to avoid all forms of examination malpractices.
Cape Coast Metro Director of the Ghana Education Service, Madam Brenda Asare speaking to ATL FM advised the candidates to be courageous and write the exams assuring them that “it is well and they should take the exams like the usual test that they write in their schools.”
She also urged them to avoid every form of examination malpractices as the whole directorate is looking up to them to excel adding that “the whole directorate is also praying for them and I know they will sail through.”
She advised teachers to desist from going to the examination centres as the heads of schools are the only ones allowed to present the candidates to the Centre.
As the country is still not out of the woods of the coronavirus, Madam Brenda says the necessary steps have been taken to protect the students against the virus.
