The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has unveiled what it calls a ‘comprehensive plan’ to drive economic recovery and long-term growth for the nation.
At a press conference held at the party’s headquarters in Accra, NPP’s Director of Communication, Richard Ahiagbah, highlighted the 2024 manifesto, describing it as a roadmap to economic stability and progress.
He stated that the NPP’s manifesto is focused on creating jobs, expanding businesses, and stabilizing Ghana’s economy.
He emphasized that these plans tap into the digital revolution to make Ghana more competitive, positioning the country to capitalize on opportunities from the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
According to Mr. Ahiagbah, these forward-looking economic strategies have been thoroughly reviewed by experts who consider them both effective and relevant to the country’s immediate needs.
Mr. Ahiagbah further called on Ghanaians to support the party and its presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the December 7 elections.
According to him, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP’s economic policies have received endorsement from experts, who consider them relevant, workable, and capable of sustaining economic recovery for Ghana.

The NPP Director of Communication explained that Dr. Bawumia’s economic approach is centred on several key pillars.
These, he said, include sustaining and expanding Ghana’s economic recovery, creating jobs, overhauling the tax system, building a digital economy to compete on a global level, reducing living costs, and improving public infrastructure.
He noted that these bold initiatives target some of the most pressing issues facing Ghanaians today, especially in terms of economic growth and employment opportunities for the youth.
“We should vote for Dr Bawumia and the NPP to implement these widely accepted policy ideas to stabilize and grow the economy. The economy is everything to vote for on December 7, and Dr Bawumia and the NPP offer the right policy solutions to boost growth and prosperity for Ghanaians,” Ahiagbah remarked.
