Victor Beausoleil, a Cape Coast-based poet, is planning to open a new studio and music agency in Ghana.
The agency will begin operations in April, with a facility in Cape Coast.
Named Sovereign Group, the author stated that this label is aimed at creating opportunities for music careers to flourish.
Victor Beausoleil believes that the artistes’ unique set of skills would enable their work to reach beyond Ghana’s borders, ensuring them a long career rather than a few local hits.
The facility will also enable extablish and up-and-coming Ghanaian acts to benefit from their international counterparts’ extensive exposure.
Experts from the United States, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Kenya, Tanzania, and Nigeria have joined the Sovereign Music Community.
The record company is in cooperation with Ghana Canada’s ambassador on culture, arts, and tourism, Matthew Mensah.
A prolific author who has written 12 books, and a seasoned philanthropist who governs all of his companies, projects and charitable endeavours on the basis of a triple bottom line of people, planet and prosperity.
Beausoleil supports youth programs, regional economic growth projects, community-building, sponsorship events, student scholarships and environmental clean-ups in Ghana.
He is confident that his extensive experience in the past will allow him to carry through his Sovereign Music Group project.
Victor Beausoleil has established validated capacity planning strategies. Over the past few years, he has shaped the lives of almost a hundred youths in the Central Region.
