A 20 year old woman has allegedly been stabbed to death by her boyfriend at Ekon a suburb of Cape Coast in the central region.
The deceased whose name has only been given as Maame is reported to have died on Wednesday evening after her boyfriend came to visit the deceased at her mother’s house at Ekon.
Though the actual cause of death is not yet known, uncle of the deceased, Mr. Albert Cobbinah who is also the former Assemblyman of Gyegyano in cape coast told ATLFMNEWS the family is awaiting the outcome of investigations from the police.

He was however quick to add that speculations about the deceased’s boyfriend committing the act cannot be overlooked due to the many confrontations the boy had with the deceased on her supposed infidelity.
“The boyfriend of my niece has on countless occasions asked me to talk to my niece because he has seen another guy constantly call her on phone. I have always adhered to this and advised my niece and she always gives ear to the advice I give to her. But I honestly do not understand why this time round, when the guy had a problem he did not come to me but rather killed my niece.”

According Mr. Albert Cobbinah, the young boy is currently in police custody after he turned himself in to the police.
