Charles Nii Armah Mensah, better known as Shatta Wale, and three other co-conspirators are scheduled to appear in court today, Tuesday, October 26, 2021, after a one-week remand.
On their first appearance in court on Thursday, October 21, 2021, they were remanded by an Accra Circuit Court.
On October 19, 2021, Shatta Wale was arrested for faking a shooting attack.
Shatta Wale, on the other hand, pleaded not guilty to charges of publishing fake news and inciting fear and panic.
Kojo Owusu Koranteng, Idris Yusif, and Eric Venator, his accomplices, have all been charged with aiding and abetting a crime.
They did, however, enter a plea of not guilty to the accusation.
Meanwhile, Bishop Stephen Kwesi Appiah of the New Life Kingdom Chapel, better known as ‘Jesus Ahuofe,’ has been granted bail.
On Monday, October 25, 2021, he was granted bail.
Jesus Ahuofe was apprehended after his prophesy that Shatta Wale, a dancehall artist, will be shot on October 18, 2021.
He was later charged with inciting fear and panic. He pled not guilty, however, and was later remanded into prison custody for five days.
