The bank stated in a circular that all shareholders registered in the bank’s books at the close of business on Friday, May 20, 2022 will be eligible for the final dividend.

In light of the foregoing, the bank announced that the ex-dividend date has been set for Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

As a result, every investor who purchases Ecobank Ghana shares before this date would be eligible for the last dividend.

An investor who purchases Ecobank Ghana shares on or after Wednesday, May 18, 2022, will not be eligible for the last dividend.

If all other factors remain constant, the final dividend will be paid on Friday, July 1, 2022.

Ecobank’s pre-tax profit increases by 14% in 2021.

Ecobank Ghana increased their profit before tax by 14 percent year on year to 886.3 million in 2021.

Growth in net interest income and net fees and commissions contributed to the company’s bottom line, according to its audited financial statements.
