Ghanaian rap sensation, Sarkodie is pleading for mercy for social media sensation, Akuapem Poloo from being sentenced to prison in her current nude picture trial.
Rosemond Brown, who is better known in the entertainment industry as Akuapem Poloo has been held liable in court yesterday after she pleaded guilty for releasing her nude pictures a few months ago when her son was celebrating his birthday.
Celebrities like DKB, broadcaster, Bridgette Otoo have all come out to speak publicly about the move with some even comparing the speed of the prosecution of Akuapem Poloo to the seemingly slow process of that of Menzgold boss’ Nana Appiah Mensah’s own.

However, Sarkodie, the multiple award-winning rapper is the latest rapper or celebrity to also join the bandwagon as he pleads for clemency to be meted out for Akuapem Poloo who is likely to face a possible jail term and subsequent separation from her son.
In a tweet on his Twitter handle, Sarkodie opined that it was quite a harsh decision to separate a child from his mother.
“I think it’s a little harsh to separate a child from her mum just because of pictures taken… would want to plead with the law to pardon our sister”.
Last year, in November 2020, social media sensation, Rosemond Alade Brown aka Akuapem Poloo, who allegedly posted her nude picture with her son on various social media platforms was made to appear before an Accra Circuit Court.
As a result, she was then granted bail to the tune of ¢100,000 with four sureties two to be justified with landed property worth ¢100,000. It was presided over by Mrs. Christiana Cann.
