Dr Kingsley Nyarko, Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwadaso, has assured Ghanaians that President Akufo-Addo’s New Patriotic Party (NPP) government would never deceive the country.
He claimed that the NPP government will continue to formulate and enforce good policies that would benefit the people and improve the country’s living conditions.
In response to the Minority in Parliament’s critiques of the 2021 budget, Dr. Nyarko told the Ghana News Agency that the government should be commended for taking such a brave decision to tell the public the truth.
“Despite the various economic ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic, the government led by President Akufo-Addo deserves to be commended for taking measures to ensure a 5% growth of the economy,” he added.

“The NPP government took over the governance of this country after the NDC government ruined it, but considering the economic repercussions, the NPP government was able to bring the country back on track,” he said.
Dr. Nyarko claimed that the government implemented effective policies during the COVID-19 pandemic to prevent the virus from spreading among Ghanaians.
He went on to state that the government was able to provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to residents, the education system, the health sector, and other public institutions, as well as free water and electricity to Ghanaians.
“During the onset of the pandemic, the government provided personal protective equipment to Ghanaians, as well as free water and electricity, both of which were positive policies. I would boldly declare that President Akufo-government Addo’s would never deceive Ghanaians,” he added.
Dr. Nyarko encouraged Ghanaians to mobilize behind the government in order to ensure that the country’s policies boost the lives of its people.
