Ghanaian rap musician, Okese1 has endorsed the Church of Pentecost for building a correctional facility (prison) to enable convicts have a good facility to facilitate their transformation program.

Okese1, who is known in private as Frank Nana Afrane showed a lot of admiration for the Church of Pentecost for building the prison, a project many find a bit preposterous because they assume that as a religious institution they could have perhaps ventured into the construction of a potable water system or even education.

“It’s cool to used the church’s fund to build a prison camp. I know some of the suffering some of my colleagues are going through in prison so I support the idea. It’s not easy for prisoners so if the church would build a prison camp then it’s a good idea” he added.

The Church of Pentecost to build three new prisons

Some few days ago, the Church of Pentecost donated a prison to the Ghana Prisons Service of Ejura.

After this donation, a lot of Ghanaians have posited varied opinions over the construction of the prison, but the Chairman of the Pentecost Church of Ghana, Apostle Eric Nyamekye has revealed plans of the construction of three new prisons under construction at Nsawam, Obuasi and Damango.
