The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced the postponement of the scheduled appearance of former member of parliament, Sarah Adwoa Safo before its disciplinary committee.
A letter dated April 6, 2025, signed by the Disciplinary Committee Secretary and addressed to Adwoa Safo states that the hearing, originally scheduled for Monday April 7, 2025 has been postponed due to “emerging scheduling adjustments and internal considerations.”
The letter assures that the former MP will be promptly notified once of the new date and time for the hearing once it is rescheduled.

The former MP for Dome-Kwabenya was summoned to appear before the NPP Disciplinary Committee on Monday April 7, 2025 for allegedly violating party directives and undermining its reputation with media comments.
She was required to present relevant evidence or witness and allow for legal representations during the proceedings.
