The Ministry of Health has announced a reduction in the cost of application forms for admission into Health Training Institutions across the country.
The move, aimed at improving access and affordability, sees the application fee slashed from GHS200 to GHS150.
In a press release signed by Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, the Ministry stated that the sale of application forms for the 2025/2026 academic year will officially begin on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, and close on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
Further details are expected to be published in due course.
Prospective applicants and the general public are advised that application forms will be available exclusively at GCB Bank PLC and the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB). No other banks or platforms have been authorized to sell the forms.
The Ministry emphasized that the price reduction forms part of a broader effort to make health education more accessible to Ghanaian youth, particularly those from underserved communities.
