The Municipal Chief Executive of Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA), Hon. Solomon Ebo Appiah says the assembly with the help of government of the Czech Republic is constructing an ICT facility for schools within the Municipality.
The ICT lab, he notes, will be a resource centre for the adjoining schools within the municipality to help students benefit from digitalization which is part of the ruling government’s digital transformation agenda.
Speaking to ATLFMNEWS, Mr. Ebo Appiah stressed that the relevance of donor partners and other stakeholders in helping to undertake such projects can help promote development in the Municipality.
In another development, the MCE labeled as false claims that the construction of a fishing port in the area was rather a landing beach.
President Akufo-Addo, on Thursday, 20th August 2020, cut sod for the commencement of the construction of the Elmina Fishing Port Project.
According to the President, the project will provide a big boost in the fishing industry in Elmina.
Mr. Appiah said the project remains as initially planned.
