Former Black stars head coach Kwesi Appiah has revealed that he applied for the Black stars coaching job because only foreign applied for the job.
Speaking to the ATL FM head of sports, Mr. Asante Forkuo, the former Ghanaian international revealed that his interest in coaching the Black again came as a result the confidence he has gain to lead the team to success and the fact that the coaches from outside Ghana were dominating in applying for the job.

the former Black Stars legend has handled the national team on three occasions with one of them as an assistant coach. The experienced manager took Ghana to the 2014 world cup where Ghana were eliminated in the group stage
