The Electoral Commission (EC) will perform a mop-up registration exercise from August 1 to August 3, 2024, in all 268 district offices, 41 prisons, and 26 public universities.
The EC has pledged that it will fix network difficulties and other logistical challenges prior to the registration process.
The information was provided at the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting on Thursday, July 25.

The electoral administration authority declared that the missing names from the voter register had been restored, and it asked political parties to notify their members to check their identities during the exhibition.
The Electoral Commission also promised to update its calendar and share it with political parties, as well as to post the Provisional Voters Register on their website in accordance with CI 91.
Furthermore, the EC’s IT department will explain at the next IPAC meeting the concerns highlighted about the registration data published in parliament.
