The Challenge of education in our country has consistently been a matter of concern for every successive government that has assumed office in Ghana.
In recent times, successive governments in Ghana have undertaken reforms with focus on increasing enrollment and improving the quality of education.
Consequently, the pressing question is how to effectively address these issues to establish lasting solutions to the educational challenges in order to ensure the sustainable implementation of policy reforms.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with ATL FM NEWS, a Professor in educational leadership at the Institute of educational planning and administration, UCC, Prof George K.T. Oduro stressed that the politicization of education should be eradicated in the educational system of Ghana since it hinders quality education.
To him, though teachers are thought thoroughly to impact the lives of students at teacher training colleges, large number of students they teach lack of learning materials which make teaching and learning difficult.
He added that, the tenure and changes in government consequently lead to alteration of educational development since governments who assume power do not continue with past developments of past government.
Prof George K.T. Oduro stressed the importance of building the educational sector to boost the economy of Ghana emphasizing that clear differences should be spelt out between party responsibilities and government responsibilities.
He said Party chairmen are responsible for party programmes across board while a president concentrates solely on making the country better.
