Blues Aim for Unbeaten WSL Title
Chelsea Women’s team is going for a big goal this season. They want to win their sixth Women’s Super League (WSL) title in a row. Even better, they want to do it without losing a single game.
Coach Sonia Bompastor has done a great job. The team has only dropped points once this season, with a 1-1 draw against Leicester City in December. With just ten games left, Chelsea is seven points ahead. It’s tough for other teams to catch them now. Blues Backed to Go Unbeaten.

Strong After Big Win
Chelsea recently beat Arsenal 1-0, and that win has boosted their confidence. After the match, some players talked about going through the season unbeaten. Ashleigh Sykes, a former Matilda, believes they can do it.
“I think it’s possible,” Sykes said. “They have some tough games ahead, but they don’t seem worried. Their focus and drive are impressive.”
She also praised Bompastor, saying the coach pushes the team to be perfect. “The players thrive on that challenge. They want to be the team everyone is chasing, and right now, they look unbeatable.”
Bompastor’s Strong Start
Bompastor took over from Emma Hayes at the start of the season and hasn’t lost a match yet. The team has only gotten stronger, especially with American defender Naomi Girma joining in a record transfer.
Boost from Record Signing
Girma is considered one of the best center-backs in the game. Her signing helps the defense, especially since they lost Kadeisha Buchanan to an injury earlier in the season.
“Girma’s signing is huge,” Sykes said. “It’s great for Chelsea to have a player like her. Plus, if Lindsey Horan and Ellie Carpenter join, this team could be even more powerful.”
With Bompastor at the helm and a solid squad, the Blues have a real shot at finishing the season unbeaten.
