The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamdu Bawumia on Wednesday, February 28 officially inaugurated his campaign team ahead of the 2024 general elections.
According to him, the campaign team must be inaugurated as the elections are drawing closer.
“Things that are necessary for us to win the 2024 elections are in place if we all pull together, we are going to do so and I am really…and this is why we are wasting no time.”
“We have not wasted any time in putting together our campaign team and we have not wasted any time in putting together our manifesto team and we are not going to waste any time in getting into action to campaign in the country and that is where we are heading.”
Speaking at the inauguration, he expressed his profound joy over the success in the selection of the various individuals who have accepted to serve on the various committees.
He believes that these committees will drive the New Patriotic Party to victory.
“Let me first start with the campaign team which is going to be chaired by the indefatigable Dan Kwaku Botwe, he will help us and team this campaign with Ofori Ansah, I think they will work very well together.”
Two committees were unveiled; the campaign team and the manifesto team responsible for leading the party to victory in the elections.
Speaking to the media after the unveiling, Dan Botwe, chairman of the 2024 campaign team articulated his unwavering confidence in the Ghanaian electorate’s readiness to engage with policy-driven discourse as they prepare to cast their votes in the forthcoming elections.
Expressing his conviction, he emphasized that Ghanaian citizens are not only primed to conscientiously evaluate proposed policies but also poised to be persuaded by a compelling and persuasive message.
He underscored the pivotal role of informed decision-making in shaping the democratic process and reiterated the campaign team’s commitment to delivering a robust and persuasive narrative that resonates with the electorate’s aspirations and concerns.
