The former trade minister, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng, has scheduled a press conference today, Monday 25th of September, 2023 to talk about his political plans.
Alan was among the 10 candidates running for the Flagbearership race at the party’s Special Delegate’s Conference on Saturday, August 26, 2023, to reduce the number of hopefuls seeking to lead the party in the 2024 polls to 5.
Despite, getting the third position among the chosen 5, Alan Kyeremateng withdrew from the primary race, stating that per his observation “The Special Delegates Conference was strategically skewed in favour of one particular Aspirant”
He added that the pronouncements made by some leading Members of the Party both before and after the elections, also lend weight to his observation.
Rumors have it that the former trade minister has cut tides with the party and he might pursue the presidency as an independent candidate.
Per reports, there is a high possibility that he might run his own political party or might give his full support to any of the four candidates running for the party’s Flagbearer.
However, the mystery will be revealed when he makes known his plans today.
Now, all eyes and ears are on patiently waiting for his announcement today to hear what he has to say about his political future plans.
