Promasidor Ghana Limited, producers of Onga range of food spices says they are looking forward to further improving upon the quality of the company’s product in order to stay competitive in the market.
At a wholesaler’s engagement in Cape Coast yesterday where they were given an opportunity to share their experience of the product usage and their expectations from the brand in an open forum, Culinary Category lead, Miss Eva Njeri Njeru acknowledged the contributions of wholesalers to the success of the Onga brand.
Issues discussed include the rich taste and aroma that comes with the use of the onga range of product, promotional activities which includes activations, TV and radio engagements amongst others.
Speaking to ATL FM NEWS on the need for the engagement, she said the wholesalers are their key customers and they should be assured of value for their money.
She said engaging the wholesalers in the region forms a critical part of the company’s plans of appreciate them for their commitment to the brand.
“If you don’t even understand the product that you are selling, how much more will you be able to push for it? So that’s part of the process for them to understand, because once you understand and once even today what we did is some cooking demo where they are able to taste the product that they actually selling,” she said.
Miss Eva Njeri Njeru further said, “I think from time to time we forget the products that we are using and for me it was important that they remember and understand the different types of onga products that we have so that they can be able to understand them themselves. Also educate the retailers who they are actually selling to”.

She said it was in the right direction to meet with the wholesalers for them to know that they are well appreciated for marketing and believing in the onga products.
“For me I wanted to tell them that I appreciate them, I value them very much and I just wanted to make them happy and to understand issues they go through in the market,” she said.
According to Miss Njeru, Promasidor Ghana Limited, is committed to producing quality food products for its consumers and soon a new product will be launched onto the Ghanaian market.
The event also offered the wholesalers an opportunity to share their experience of the product usage and their expectations from the brand in an open forum.
