According to official media, Russia would provide new humanitarian corridors across numerous Ukrainian cities on Monday to allow civilians to leave.
According to Russia’s defense ministry, the truce would begin at 10:00 Moscow time (07:00 GMT), with evacuation routes established up in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol, and Sumy.
All of these cities are now under heavy Russian assault.
Officials in Ukraine have yet to confirm this.
Two attempts to establish a corridor for residents to flee from Mariupol in the country’s south-east failed over the weekend.
According to Ukrainian officials, this is because Russia continued to shell the city during the agreed-upon ceasefire hours.
