Ghanaian actress and movie producer, Yvonne Nelson has taken a subtle jab at rapper Sarkodie in her recent interview on Accra based Onua FM.
Over the past few years, Sarkodie and his ex lover, Yvonne Nelson has had a strained relationship with the release of her memoire deteriorating the situation.

In an interview monitored by atlfmnews, Yvonne mentioned that she is always poised to speak the truth regardless of the outcome.
She was speaking in relation to the role Sarkodie played in her alleged abortion as captured in her memoire.

“We are telling our young girls to speak up, and if you’ll speak up for people to feel uncomfortable, then that is their problem so far as you are telling the truth”.
According to the Princess Tyra actress, Yvonne Nelson who took a subtle jab at Sarkodie, she mentioned that they had no rift between them.
“There was no rift between us. We are not friends, and after what happened in the book, we have not been close friends. It is okay for people to feel the way they feel but that doesn’t stop anyone from telling their stories”.
In her book, Nelson shared details of a past relationship with Sarkodie which led to an abortion.
Since the book’s publication, their relationship has weakened, with Nelson acknowledging the distance between them.
