In a recent development, Wizkid and Davido, two of Nigeria’s most famous musicians, have become increasingly tense, leading to a contentious discussion on social media.
Everything began on Monday, April 29, when Wizkid posted a video clip of Davido making fun of the 30BG boss in what seemed to be a subliminal joke.
Fans of both singers responded wildly to this message, with some even getting into arguments with other musicians like Tekno and Kizz Daniel.
On Monday night, Davido then used the X platform to tweet that his songs are no longer recognized, appearing to be a veiled jab at the Ojuelegba crooner.
“Dem no know ur gbedu [music] again,” he wrote.
Amid Davido’s series of posts, Wizkid wrote: “U know what..no point. delusional niggas pray for y’all”.
The Starboy’s message was then immediately referenced by Davido, who called him a “sick man” in reaction to Wizkid’s earlier comment that they were delusional.
Wizkid continued by sharing Davido’s video diss, which the OBO crooner then cited, in which he expressed sorrow for investing his money to try to revive his career only to have it fail once more.

He wrote, “That’s what I thought. Nothing to say! Exactly why I stopped wasting my clout and jeopardizing my millions of usd of endorsements on someone whose career was resurrected a few years ago just to die again. NEXT!!”.
