As the competition draws to a close, up to 11 of Ghana’s regions are relegated to spectator status due to the desire to win and claim the title of 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) Champions.
Due to the competitive and frequently demanding matches that occurred during the quarterfinals on Tuesday, October 17, the nine schools who will fight for one of the three finals spots have been decided.
The Ashanti Region is home to Opoku Ware School, Prempeh College, and St. Louis SHS. Achimota School and PRESEC Legon, the reigning champions, are the two in the Greater Accra region.

Wesley Girls’ High School and Mfantsipim School are the other two contenders in the Central region, while Keta SHTS and Pope John SHS & Seminary are the sole contenders in the Volta and Eastern regions.
Today, October 19, the 2023 NSMQ semi-finals will be conducted at the Saarah-Mensah Auditorium at KNUST to decide which three schools will punch the hardest.

There will be competition between Achimota School, St. Louis Senior High School, and Wesley Girls’ High School.
1:30 p.m.
Opoku Ware School, Pope John SHS & Seminary, and Prempeh College will engage in combat.
5:30 p.m.
Keta SHTS, Mfantsipim School and PRESEC Legon will seal the deal.
