Actor Kwadwo Nkansah “Lil Win’s” attorney claims that her client is not at fault for the May 25 accident that killed a three-year-old boy.
Margaret Mary Adjei Twum claims that the actor’s recent release of “A Country Called Ghana” has been significantly impacted by the disaster.
After Monday’s court session, Madam Margaret Mary Adjei Twum addressed the media and stated that her team was prepared to prove the actor’s innocence in court.
“We will defend because we are standing on his innocence. We still believe in his innocence until proven otherwise. We will still pursue our posture and the theory of our case will change when we have the reports from the Attorney General,” she explained.
After being arrested on Monday, June 3, Lil Win was given GH¢50,000 bail with two sureties by the Asokore Mampong District Court.

Shortly after being released from the hospital, the actor was arrested by officials from the Manhyia Divisional Command’s Motor Traffic and Transport Department.
Lil Win faces charges of careless injury and reckless driving.
Justice is currently being demanded by the deceased’s relatives.
However, Margaret Mary Adjei Twum, his attorney, expressed her hope that the deceased’s family will find some solace and closure.
“We are not so much conscious about the money. Now we pray that the family members will be healed and then things will be fine.”
