The 12 pillars of economic freedom, which Cheddar, a possible presidential candidate for Ghana, unveiled on Sunday, September 1, outline his ideas and programs to improve the lives of Ghanaians.
Speaking briefly about his plans for the creative industry, Cheddar suggested building a top-notch studio to act as Africa’s center of creativity.
“Ghana is the Black Star of Africa; this studio needs to be in Ghana. We need to build that studio,” he asserted.

Cheddar bemoaned still further the difficulties impeding the creative sector’s current structure. He demanded that content creators’ intellectual property (IP) rights be upheld and protected.
“Royalties are not being effectively collected because we didn’t even build the machine. Today, the New Force has decided to build the right machine for pushing the Publishing Act that protect the IP of our content creators.
“We have to protect it, we have to claim the royalties, and we have to make sure that its circulating in our economy because they are part of us,” Cheddar noted.
