The Dean of the School of Business UCC, Professor John Gartchie Gatsi has hinted that the school will in the near future enroll webinar sessions into the regular students’ curricula.
The school of business has for the past three weeks been holding webinar sessions where experts’ knowledge both from the academia and industry players are shared on how industries can survive in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with ATL FM News on the sidelines of the webinar, Prof Gatsi indicated that, the school of Business at the University of Cape Coast has found it prudent to incorporate same into the curricular to afford students the platforms to acquire and share knowledge.
“We do know that things have changed and online teaching has become part of our educational delivery process. So, inculcating the webinar into our teaching and learning is something that we can easily do so we embrace to do going forward. It will become easier for some courses to be taught using this approach. We have taken a step further in introducing our lecturers to some of these tools so that in future they can use this approach in engaging their students.”

He said it would be meaningful because it makes things more creative, innovative and easy to understand. Thus it is their duty to ensure knowledge is shared in a manner that makes it easy for people to appreciate.
The School of Business webinar series focuses on the five academic departments of the school; Accounting, Finance, Management, Human Resource Management, Procurement and supply chain, and the Centre for entrepreneurship and small enterprise development.
