As part of a joint venture with the US government, President Donald Trump has stated that he might be amenable to Oracle chairman Larry Ellison or Tesla CEO Elon Musk purchasing TikTok.
During a news conference on Tuesday, Trump was asked if he would be amenable to “Elon purchasing TikTok.” He said he would be and went on to say, “I’d like Larry to buy it, too.”
Trump instructed the Department of Justice not to execute the fines associated with the TikTok ban and signed an executive order on Monday to postpone the ban date by seventy-five days. Despite being back online, the app is still not available in app stores.

Trump is mulling a deal in which the government grants the corporation a U.S. operating permit in exchange for half of TikTok in order to salvage the app.
Trump declared, “I have the right to make a deal.” “I’m considering telling someone that if they purchase it and donate half to the United States of America, we’ll grant them the permit.”
