On March 29, President Akufo-Addo was trending on Twitter as Ghanaians celebrated his birthday.
On that day, ‘Addo Show Boy,’ as he is affectionately known by many Ghanaians, became 79 years old.
Ghanaians expressed their appreciation for his leadership and best wishes to him.

They also prayed for his good health and long life so that he might continue his exemplary governance.
But, new videos of him cutting a cake as part of the milestone have surfaced, causing social media to erupt once more.
The scene in which he attempted to blow out the sparkler candles on the cake elicited various responses on social media.
