The Women’s Super League (WSL) is in full swing for the 2024/25 season. We’re here to track the players making waves in England’s top league. Starting from late September until mid-May, 12 teams will fight it out in 22 rounds to see who takes the top spot. Last season, Chelsea, led by Sam Kerr, took home the title for the fifth time in a row.

In the last season, Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw from Manchester City won the WSL Golden Boot. She scored an amazing 21 goals in just 18 games. That’s an average of 1.36 goals per match. This was her first time winning it, and she’s looking to defend her title this season.

As the season rolls on, it’s interesting to note that no one has won the WSL Golden Boot more than twice. Sam Kerr and Vivianne Miedema are the only players with two titles each. Miedema also holds the record for the most goals in a single season with 22 goals. Rachel Daly from Aston Villa matched that record too.
