Mrs. Newman said in a statement that as the Principal Technical and Vocational Education (TVET) Ambassador in Ghana, the First Lady recognized that technical vocational education was at the center of every country’s growth.
Mrs. Akufo-Addo, according to the study, saw TVET as a way for many people to discover and grow their God-given talents in order to make a living.
Mrs. Newman stated that the First Lady was working tirelessly with her fellow TVET Ambassadors to transform the outdated image of TVET and to further improve enrolment in Technical and Vocational Institutions in order to inspire world-class success in skills growth whilst exposing the youth to a multitude of professional professions.
