Former signee of Sarkcess Music, Strongman Burner has revealed his current relationship with his godfather and former boss, Sarkodie.
Strongman Burner left Sarkodie’s record label, Sarkcess Music in 2019 after both partners agreed to part ways amicably.
According to Strongman, although he is grateful for the opportunities and exposure he gained while being signed to Sarkcess Music, his decision to leave the label was a turning point in his career.
He explained that after going independent, he was able to take full control of his music and explore various avenues to generate income.

Strongman revealed in an interview on Kumasi based Pure FM that Sarkodie is his godfather and they still enjoy a good relationship.
“Sarkodie is my godfather and regardless of everything that happens, I still give him the maximum respect and even as a younger one, I still have to give him that respect, but there is no issue between us” Strongman explained.
He also added that while in Senior High School, he used to study Sarkodie’s rap.
“When I was in Senior High School, I often studied Sarkodie’s rap and I still like him. For what’s worth, Sark is Sark and he has been my godfather”.

Answering questions on whether he believes in Spiritism and its implications in the music industry, he added that such claims of spiritism exist in almost every sector, hence it is not far fetched if it exists in the Ghanaian music industry.
Strongman revealed that in such matters, he worries less about it because he believes that God will protect him from his enemies.
“I believe there are some people who indulge and crave the audience of spirit mediums to protect them or use it in their business. Even those who sell tomatoes, onions and even in the media business, some are believed to have encounters with spirit mediums to protect themselves or harm others, but as for me I depend on God so if there’s any musician out there who believes in that it’s up to them, but I depend on God for my spiritual protection”.
Last year, Strongman revealed that his departure from Sarkcess Music had a great influence on his career financially even though he had quite a good amount of money but his departure brought more cash.
