The official television rights holders of the Ghana Premier League, StarTimes have announced that 150 games will be broadcast live in the 2021-22 season.
This will be the first time in the history of the competition 150 games will be broadcast live to viewers across the globe within the 34 weeks of football action.
Together with its partners, StarTimes is ready to invest over 1 Million Dollars into the production of live coverage and rebroadcast of the matches.

Speaking at the Launch of the 2021/22 Ghana Football season, Head of Corporate communications at StarTimes, Mrs Arkofa Banson said “Last season was exciting and saw electrifying performances from the clubs.
StarTimes together with our Free to air television partner MAX TV produced and broadcast 123 live games of the GPL and 10 live games for the MTN FA CUP, never in the history of the Ghana premier league has a single broadcaster been able to pull this off. Let me take this opportunity to thank the GFA and the Premier League clubs for their support”.
Mrs Banson added: “As television rights holders of the league, our objective is to attract the attention of football fans and increase the commercial clout of the GPL to raise its value on television”.
