The multi-award-winning Ghanaian musician Efya is cautioning people against companions who enter their life only to further their own agendas.
She claimed that it had taken her some time to realize that some individuals don’t really form relationships out of love; rather, they do so just for selfish purposes.
The Best in Me singer revealed a tremendous betrayal yesterday when she talked about her experience on X. She said that some people seem to be friends and show amazing love when you’re present, but then they quickly turn around and say the worst things when you’re not.
She wrote: “It took me a while to realise that some people come into your life to USE YOU..!!! Damn!! They hate u.. but they stay cos of what they can get from u.. they talking shit behind your back when u ain’t there n kiss ur ass when u there … yeah.. and they swear they GENG …I know this now… EYE CLEAR…WE MOVE!!!!!! (sic)”.

Her supporters agreed with her viewpoints and praised her for fearlessly sharing her story and shedding light on a rising social phenomena.

The four-time VGMA Best Vocal Performer remarked in a series of tweets that she never stopped trying to give her all and that her dedication to providing great music and life-changing experiences never wavered.
“It is disheartening to be ridiculed based on misunderstandings and assumptions. I hope this thread provides clarity and sheds light on the intricacies of the music industry. Let us focus on celebrating each other’s achievements rather than perpetuating unnecessary controversies,” she said at the time.
