Ghanaian Highlife musician, KK Fosu has mentioned that there are some Ghanaian Highlife artistes that can also fill the Indigo O2 arena like Medikal did few days ago.
Last week was a fantastic achievement for one of Ghana’s rap musicians, Medikal as he filled to capacity the 20,000 performance auditorium in the United Kingdom.
The magnificent show was graced by other popular artistes like Sarkodie, Bisa K Dei, Shatta Wale, Efya among a host of other A list artistes who passed through to support their colleague.
Speaking with GNA Entertainment, the “6 O’clock” crooner indicated that this was a feat that some Highlife artistes in the country can achieve.
According to KK Fosu, the Highlife genre is big out there and can also easily attract music patrons to come and fill the O2 arena in the UK.
“Highlife music is big out there, and I believe some of our Highlife artists can fill the O2 Arena. Sometimes we underestimate the popularity of Highlife music on the global stage” he mentioned.
The D-Style man also indicated that he’s very confident of his claims, because of his experience as a well traveled and sort after Highlife musician, who has had the privilege of touring outside the country.

KK Fosu, was however of the firm conviction that when all Highlife artistes come together to work hand in hand and support each other like the Hiplife artistes did for Medikal, they would possibly achieve more than what Medikal did.
“I have performed all around the world, and the reception I receive performing Highlife is just amazing. I believe one day a Highlife artist will fill up the O2 Arena” he told GNA Entertainment.
“Highlife musicians would have to come together and support each other to make this a reality, just like what the likes of Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, and Medikal have done,” Fosu stated.
KK Fosu started his music career in 1999, hence would be marking 25 years of a solid and successful career.
