Bossu, Emmanuel Former Sista Afia manager Kule Arhin has criticized Fancy Gadam for his new explanation of why he was not there at Afia’s Tamale event almost two years ago.
Low attendance was observed at the May 14, 2022, event at the Tamale Sports Stadium following Fancy Gadam’s withdrawal from the lineup.
Bossu Kule, who says he was present for the negotiations, says Fancy’s story is full of lies.
Just one week before the event, Fancy Gadam stated to Majority Radio in Tamale that the deal with Sista Afia was finalized.
“Sista Afia didn’t approach us. Someone called and said he wanted to do a show with me and her. We charged GH¢100,000. Then she called herself, wanting me to help her, so I took GH¢50,000 per artiste-to-artiste agreement, meaning half of the initial fee” he said.
Fancy Gadam said that the event’s timing was unfavorable as well. He explained that they had to reschedule it in order to have more time for promotion because the original date was closer to Ramadan.
“We needed time to promote the show. Timing was the main issue and it was Ramadan. We are all Muslims and fasting so they will not want to attend,” Fancy Gadam explained.
The “Total Cheat” hitmaker said that despite having received payment a week earlier, he did not attend the event as a result.
“I didn’t want to dent my reputation. The timing was the main thing,” Fancy said.

Kule Bossu’s account
The previous manager of Sista Afia refuted Fancy’s timing explanation in a Facebook post that has since been removed, saying that Afia was forced to reschedule her event three months in advance because to Fancy Gadam’s justifications.
Calling Fancy’s remarks “lies,” he further chastised the musician for giving contradictory information about the amount charged.
Disappointed Sista Afia
In interviews, Sista Afia has voiced her dissatisfaction with Fancy Gadam, notably for not returning her calls.
She claims that Fancy Gadam has not apologized to her or her team for the no-show, nor has she directly explained to her what actually transpired.
She called the incident a humiliating circumstance that was readily avoidable.
