The Ghanaian who attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon by one individual (sing-a-thon), Afua Asantewaa Owusu Aduonum, has indicated that she has yet to submit her effort for formal certification.

According to her, the judges and technical team have completed their job and will shortly submit it to Guinness World Records for verification before making an official statement about her record attempt.

She gave this explanation during the 31st Watch Night service in Prampram’s Potter’s City, which was led by Prophet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie.

Afua Asantewaa’s attempt to break the sing-a-thon record began on Christmas Eve and ended on Friday, December 29, 2023, after 126 hours and 52 minutes.
