According to a report from GHANAsoccernet.com, Simba SC, a prominent club from Tanzania, is actively pursuing a transfer for Derrick Fordjour, the forward of Medeama SC, in preparation for the 2024–25 football season. Negotiations between Simba SC, known as the Msimbazi Lions, and the reigning champions of the Ghana Premier League are progressing well and have reached an advanced stage.
Fordjour, who signed a four-year contract with Medeama in 2022, demonstrated his skills during the team’s successful campaign in the 2022-23 Premier League season, contributing two goals and five assists in 27 appearances. He played a crucial role in Medeama’s historic progression to the group stage of the CAF Champions League, featuring in all six matches.

Despite being only 21 years old, Fordjour has already played 19 matches in the Ghanaian top division this season, scoring once and providing a couple of assists.
