A Senior High School student allegedly died in a motorcycle accident on the Somanya- Odumase Krobo route near Mampong.
At around 2:00 a.m., Florence Batsa, age 20, was reportedly heading back home from the Memorial nightclub in Somanya on a motorcycle with a female companion and the motor rider.
Patrick Tetteh Lawer, the motorcyclist, said that an approaching car abruptly moved into their lane, despite their efforts to prevent a head-on collision.
Florence died instantly despite the fact that the rider and the other pillion rider incurred a number of injuries.
The wounded are now being treated at St. Martin’s De Porres Hospital in Argomanya, while the body of the dead has been placed in the hospital’s mortuary.

According to the deceased’s Uncle, Florence will be laid to rest on Friday.
Paul Okoto, the headmaster of Asesewa Senior High School in the Eastern area, confirmed the occurrence by stating that the dead was a first-year student on vacation.
He said that the family came to the school on Wednesday to tell administration of her passing.
