Shatta Wale, a popular musician from Ghana, has made shocking accusations about drug smuggling out of the country against some Ghanaian artists and the Kotoka International Airport.
In reaction to debates on social media about his friend Mona Faiz Montrage, known to many as Hajia4real, who was recently detained in the US, Shatta Wale made his remarks. Shatta Wale’s name has been mentioned a lot in relation to reports of Hajia4real’s arrest and probable involvement of accomplices.
In a video posted to Twitter, Shatta Wale vented his rage at being linked to such charges and vehemently denied any involvement in fraudulent acts.
He questioned why he would engage in fraudulent operations and added that because of his notoriety, powerful people in the nation were eagerly expecting his arrest.
Additionally, the controversial dancehall musician said that Kotoka International Airport was aware of and was monitoring the situation and that other Ghanaian musicians were participating in drug smuggling.
Shatta Wale related anecdotally about once learning that several Ghanaian musicians were smuggling cocaine out of the nation, and how the airport authorities were told of these activities.
He advised people to contact the airport to find out more about the amount of musicians carrying cocaine that they were keeping an eye on.
