Renowned rapper Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, has thrown his support behind Guru for the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) presidential election at the University of Ghana, UG.
During his performance at the Pent Hall Week Artiste Night on Friday, May 24, 2024, Sarkodie took the chance to urge the student body of UG to cast their votes for Guru during their SRC elections.
He stated that Guru’s leadership would improve the university and enhance opportunities for creatives on campus.
“If you want me to come here again then make Guru the President of the SRC,” he said indicating that he knows Guru and he will make a good leader.
