The secretariat of the Nation Builders Corps in a press release has called on all trainees to remain at post.
The communique stated that the directive was agreed upon following “a high-level stakeholder meeting with the lead NABCO Module Implementation Partners (MIPs) led by His Excellency the Vice President of Ghana and the Chief of Staff”, Akosua Frema Opare.
This latest development is a huge change of decision after NABCO’s National Coordinator, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars, stated that the trainees’ 3-year contract would not be extended.

The statement also called on all trainees to work thoroughly and professionally at their place of work until any final decision is made by the scheme and the MIPs to ensure a smooth transition.
In the meantime, the notice also said the secretariat will be hiring new trainees next year.
