The Public Services Workers Union (PSWU) has embarked on an indefinite strike action starting today, October 21, 2024, concerning working conditions and delayed negotiations with the government.
This strike aims to pressure the government to address unsettled issues including unpaid allowances, institution-specific demands and inadequate working conditions.
Union leaders vowed to continue the strike until the government takes instant action to resolve the issues.
They are therefore urging the government to address their concerns immediately warning that the strike could disrupt key public services across the country.
