Communications Team Member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Adomako Baafi has admonished the media and Ghanaians to consistently express positive sentiments about Ghana, regardless of the governing political party.
According to him, Ghanaians live in a global village where continuous negative statements on the radio against the nation tend to drive investors away.
Speaking in an interview on Okay Fm, he expressed that portraying the nation in a negative light will lead to continuous retardation.
He therefore noted that irrespective of political affiliations Ghanaians and media personnel must filter words before voicing them out.
“… We have to ask questions before talking, and with that, we will move forward as a nation,” he said.
Meanwhile, Adomako Baafi touted the achievement of the NPP and mentioned that education has taken a swift positive turn under the Akufo-Addo-led government which is worthy of recognition.
He suggested that such actions and policies, when implemented, should be widely publicized to inform the world.
“NPP has lifted education in Ghana swiftly and when we exercise patience, there will be better days ahead. As a nation, let’s learn to publicize these positive deeds and policies implemented to the world,” he advised.
Lawyer Adomako also shed light on Bawumia’s ongoing tour in the various regions and the policies he intends to implement when voted into power in the upcoming December 7 polls.
He revealed the flagbearer has received positive feedback from the ongoing tour indicating that Dr. Bawumia’s focus lies not in a desperate search for power but in genuine concern for the welfare of Ghanaians and the implementation of policies aimed at advancing the nation.
“Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is gradually touring regions in the country. By God’s grace, he started in the Western Region, then to the Western North, and also moved to Ahafo and the Bono region. So far there has been positive feedback from numerous people which is very satisfying. We haven’t reached the peak yet because Dr. Bawumia is yet to unveil his manifesto.”
