The four aspiring flagbearer candidates for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have pledged to stay in the party after the primary elections even if they lose.
The candidates signed an undertaking during a meeting with the National Council of Elders.
As stated by NPP General Secretary Justin Frimpong Koduah during a news conference, the candidates committed to putting the party’s interests first.

Vice President Muhammadu Bawumia, Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong, former Agriculture Minister Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, and Mampong MP Francis Addai-Nimoh will all be running in the primaries.
