President John Mahama has issued a formal notice directing all members of the statutory boards Corporations, Commissions and Councils who served under the Akufo-Addo led government to hold office.
This follows the assumptions of office of President John Mahama on 7th January, 2025 and in accordance with Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (Act 845).
The notice however does not include commissions independent constitutional creations.
In a statement issued and signed by the Ag. Spokesperson to the President, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the president expressed appreciation to the affected members and wished them in their future endeavours.
He further directed managements of the affected bodies to seek clearance from the Chief of Staff before under taking major decisions.
