Parts of the Cape Coast north and south have been flooded after a heavy downpour Friday dawn leaving many displaced and several properties destroyed.
As such the Central Regional Head of Training and Disaster Control Department of NADMO, Enock Kojo Forson is urging indigenes of Cape Coast to tread cautiously in all their endeavours.
Areas such as the Abura Academy, Eyifua, Cape Coast stadium, University of Cape Coast and its environs, Adisadel among other areas have been affected by the floods.
The flood also disrupted vehicular traffic as some major roads were also affected.
In an interview with ATLFMNEWS, Mr. Kojo Forson indicated the metropolis, district and parts of the region have all experienced various floods at different levels.
He said it is important for residents living in low lying areas to relocate for a while as the rains announced by the meteorological department will continue to mid-November 2021.
