Meanwhile, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has described the nominations as one which will affect the spending of the government, especially amidst the ongoing economic crisis by the ruling New Patriotic Party.
The NDC has therefore directed the Minority caucus to disapprove the new ministerial nominations by President Nana Akufo-Addo.
In a statement signed by the General Secretary of the NDC, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the Opposition NDC share the view that the overly large size of the current government must be reduced drastically while bearing in mind the ongoing economic mess in the country.
