Tufohene of Oguaa Traditional Area, Nana Kwame Adu VI has entreated parents and guardians of final year students especially at the Cape Coast Technical Institute to ensure their wards prepare adequately towards this year’s West African Senior High School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Nana Kwame Adu VI who is also a member of the Board of Governors at the Cape Coast Technical Institute said the average results students obtained in previous WASSCE examinations have been largely due to students showing lackadaisical attitude towards better preparation after they’ve been duly registered for examinations.
“We have realized that when pupils in even the basic school and to a large extent, the senior high school get registered to write their final examination, they think enormously that, they have finish schooling, not knowing that there are other things for them to do to prepare well for their examinations and come out with flying colours.”
Currently about 866 students in the institute are preparing to sit for the upcoming 2020/2021 WASCCE.
In an exclusive interview with ATLFMNEWS on Tuesday, Nana Kwame Adu VI intimated that it very important for parents and guardians to ensure their wards complete all classes to ensure their success in the upcoming WASCCE
He further urged the youth to be vigilant and follow laid down rules in their various schools so as to succeed in all their endeavors and also carve a niche for themselves in the society.
